We Are
Kalyanamitta
Yatra
In the Buddha’s time, when the monsoon season ended and conditions allowed the Buddha and his followers to travel, they would move from community to community teaching and offering practice in the towns and villages that welcomed them.
Kalyanamitta Yatra can be translated as the Way of Admirable or Beautiful Friends and following in the Buddha’s footsteps, this is our way of bringing the teaching of the Dhamma and Insight Dialogue to communities around the world.
If you would like to practice Insight Dialogue face to face in your own community, introduce your sangha or friends to the practice, or simply have someone give a talk, please get in touch. If you are willing to help organize an event, or are simply a participant looking for a nearby event to attend, please let us know. Together we can make anything happen.
About
The
Journey
This is a simple journey, a chance to meet, to experience the joy of being present to each other in those shared moments, in life and in the practice of Insight Dialogue. Within these pages you will find glimpses into this and other journeys offered in the voices and the images of fellow travellers speaking from different places and in different languages. Please use the languages button in the page header to translate the content into you own language.
Dave Leggatt practiced in the Vipassana tradition for many years. Dave facilitates and teaches in-person workshops, retreats and online offerings.
